As a Contract Creative Writer, we helped localize the MMORPG Blade & Soul for Western audiences with a number of narrative, marketing and QA tasks. As writers, we edited every single character's dialogue in the game, both significant and insignificant. We also named every single location, every weapon, every magic spell, costume, item etc. We helped out with marketing materials and official website text.
We edited content and story direction to make sure it made sense for Western audiences. We delved deeply into character development and dialogue, changing tones and voices when writing the dialogue of every single character in the game (PC's and NPC's).
